Laurie graduated from Brown University, and received her Master's and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.   Learn more about Dr. Ossman.    Green Animals & Kingscote Open This Weekend; Plant Sale at Green Animals The Newport Mansions®operating schedule expands this Saturday, with the opening of Kingscote (1841) and Green Animals Topiary Garden (c. 1860) for daily tours.  Make time to see one of America's greatest dining rooms at Kingscote, with its Tiffany glass and a unique cork ceiling.  And of course, a visit to one of North America's oldest topiary gardens is always a treat! As an added incentive, our annual plant sale takes place at Green Animals starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday.  Find a special gift for Mom or the perfect plant for your garden. Gallery Tour: 20th Century Fashion Sign up now for a special behind-the-scenes look at our current costume exhibit at Rosecliff, 20th Century Fashion.  The tour takes place Thursday, May 16 at 11 a.m., led by exhibition consultant Mary Elizabeth Corrigan.
