music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us?

Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us? This article is amazing, because it shows the general public how far we have come with consciousness and future possibilities. If you for example understand the," many worlds"' theory, then you can easily postulate from that, that we live in more than one place at a time. If you understand Dr. Robert Lanza, who postulates that when we die, we have a choice of life situations from a ladder of choices in time and place, ( as I understand it), that it is also easy to imagine how we live consciously in more than one dimension at a time, but we focus on matter.

The latter idea is easily put forth by Buddhists, who are able to meditate into another state and overcome the focus on matter. Mediation is erasing the focus on matter, and it is not an easy feat! Have you heard of the, " rainbow body"? It is amazing, and when I get a chance I will post on it.

My first novel, "Secrets of the Heart," was an attempt to unclothe our consciousness, and expose it, as existing in more than one world, by introspection, and by conversations from other worlds with people who have gone on to new experiences, not only in time as we know it, but in time gone by. It was a examination of how eternal love can exist in the world and how we can choose to re incarnate over and over with people. It might sound out of this world, but, what we see as reality is not reality, it is way beyond our comprehension and we are learning slowly, of what might truly be. You can read the book as a story, or you can read the book as an unclothing of consciousness, which is far more satisfying.

La Cucina Italiana | Italian recipes, cooking, ingredients and food guides

La Cucina Italiana Italian recipes, cooking, ingredients and food guides  We met Greg from the magazine, and Laya and Neill from Banfi wines at the Newport Festival of Wine and Food.   It was fun, tasting and enjoying the Friday evening event.  Love the magazine and recipes, and the Banfi wines are terrific.  There is a hotel at the winery in Italy, maybe some day we will find the time to go back to wonderful Italy!

Swingdance in Jungle Book

Here is one of my faves by the Sherman Brothers, as portrayed by the great Louis Prima. I was reminded of it , in the movie, The Boys ( Sherman brothers story)

The Boys: The Sherman Brothers Story [HQ]

Early this morning, I stumbled on this movie, when it was still too dark to get out of bed. It was wonderful! Emotional, tearful, reminiscent, and just wonderful with the music they created. It makes you so cognizant of the writers frustration and problems as they work together for years, and how they long to get away from it, but, it is the very problem they look at as a mountain that gives them the creative edge.

Blue Velvet

I always loved the song by Bobbie Vinton, and stumbled on the movie featuring the song, last night. It is a spell binding movie if you haven't seen it.
