music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Coral Castle stone structure created by the Latvian-American eccentric E...

Did this man find the secret of anti gravity? What was the black box that sat on the top of his tripod? Only the tripod was visible, but there was a black box on it, that no one ever found.  The mystery deepens?

Carahunge Armenia's Stone Henge

Carahunge Armenia's Stone Henge Here the mystery deepens as you consider the possiblities of aliens having visited the earth.
How did thety move the stones? Only anti magnetism could do it? What if we could change the magnetic field, the pull of gravity?
How close are we to discovering that secret? Was it discovered once already in this century and never disclosed?

Well, I am learning alot about CERN, and surprised to learn that the scientists are not concerned about black hole explosions and all the rumors we heard about the danger of the large accelerator. If you are interested in what is happening in the world of CERN, and the future of science, here is something to dream on, maybe we are knocking on heaven's door?

201110.18 Coast to Coast Erich vonDaniken Ancient ET Visitations.mov

Eric is bringing this to the foreground of our consciousness, more and more scholars are taking it up, as a possibility. We should not laugh or scoff at the many ideas that come forward, rather explore and study all possibilities, so that knowledge can grow.

Paul's books and now a talk, are interesting, absorbing, and make you think. I highly recommend his books, which I have enjoyed reading.

Rosemary Clooney - Come On-A My House (Original)

Everyone would have hated this song, just as she did....but, Mitch Miller introduced the harpischord, and that is what made the song a smash hit....in the stupid song days...we had a few years of," Doggie in the Window", songs...

Frank Sinatra-Begin the Beguine

It just goes to show you , sometimes partnering works!

MICHAEL FEINSTEIN: THE SINATRA LEGACY | New York, New York | PBS

Wonderful , wonderful, watch The Sinatra Legacy. Michael's explanation of Sinatra, his timing, his singing behind the beat, and his glory is wonderful. He states that as Elvis captured the young people, Sinatra, at the same time was capturing the parents group. Michael even points out that after the war, music went into a funk, that carried all the big voices into temporary hiding, as they fought the record producers and music that was lack luster....for about 5 years or so...interesting, fun and exiciting, if you knew or love the period.

Michael Feinstein's American Songbook | Interview with Michael Feinstein...

Michael Feinstein, and the history of American music. I love music, but am not exemplary, so I was thrilled to see that someone trained in music is also interested in the great history of sound/music of the 20th Century and its preservation. I watched this program on TV last night and came to know this great musician. Hope you find out more about him too...

Jimmy Sacca - Alone

whose voice will suit this song, if it is ever recorded again? I think it should be recorded by a woman K. D. Lang and a male singer....maybe Michael Buble?

Mario Lanza - Parlami d'Amore Mariu

Every Sunday afternoon, this played either on the record player, or on The Italian Hour coming from WKOX, in Framingham, Mass. My mother loved music, and she swooned over Mario Lanza among many great voices.  "Mom, will you and Dad teach us to speak Italian?"
" We would love to teach you to speak Italian, but, we want you to be all American, and concentrate on your lessons in English."  So, Frank, my brother and I never learned a 2nd language,  and as most children of immigrants, we blended into the American scene, and our parents spoke better English for they spoke only English in the home with us.

DAVID WHITFIELD - CARA MIA (U.K.No1.1954.)

A wonderful hit in the UK first! Great voice , also

Cara Mia ( Spanish Version ) - Carlos Almenar Otero

A wonderful Spanish version ....

Gene Pitney - Cara Mia w/ LYRICS

This is the signature song for Jay Black, sounds very similar, now I have to listen in Spanish.

JAN PEERCE SINGS - ALONE - LIVE 1935.wmv

Chevrolet presents.....Jan Peerce was the hearthrob of lots of mothers, grandmothers, in those days. Here he sings the great Marx brothers song...

MARX TUNES 2/ ALLAN JONES ' ALONE'

The Marx brothers, where funny, we did not appreciate their talent to it's fullest. This is from their movie , A Night at the Opera

AT LAST ~ Charlie Spivak & His Orchestra & The Stardusters 1942.wmv

what a line up of talent! Imagine, there where ballrooms, and everyone went dancing at the ballrooms in those days, what fun!

Alone - Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra - Cliff Weston

Keeping music of the past, alive and well. This is a wonderful song, hard to find today..I can see them dancing back in the 1940's to this song.
