music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

The Consolation of Philosophy: Scientific American

The Consolation of Philosophy: Scientific American This is a fun article to read, his book and his comments have stirred up a nest....however, the science is there, and the questions remain. As he says theological questions can not be answered by science, but lots of our thinking is just not always right or wrong, from what they can observe in the world of quantum science.
We can see that in our attempts to be a caring giving economy, every action we take causes another action to take place. We can stop and see that in the world of gross matter, just as the scientists can see it in the quantum world. How many years will pass before we can as a world people come to the conclusion that we have to consider our actions in combination with an attempt to anticipate the results of these actions before we act.
It is a repeating world, from the infinitely small to the infinetly large, all interacting in a hugh hologram, can we control it? Can we learn to control some of it? I think the questions remain unanswered forever, because all paths are always open until we commit. Once we choose to observe, then the commitment is made, based on the uncertainty principle. But, then , what do I know!

oNFor the First Time, Electrons are Observed Splitting into Smaller Quasi-Particles | Popular Science

For the First Time, Electrons are Observed Splitting into Smaller Quasi-Particles | Popular Science  One wonders if this can continue into infinity, much too small to see.?...We are finding that codes ae self replicating, and maybe so is the DNA of our body, and on and on.  Do you think there are self replicating worlds?  Is this where the idea of many dimensions comes from?  Could the demise of our economic system become self replicating?  Lots of thoughts for a dreary day in Massachusetts.
