After years of love for books, I have finally tried my hand at a book. Secrets of the Heart, is a story told by an old woman reviewing her life. She is joined by her friends voices , as they recount their stories to her and with her. A book full of emotion; the pain of war from the eyes of a child, the pain of a loved one dying, life long love and the magic of emotions coming to life on a computer. It recounts the universal theme of love from different perspectives along the time line of the 1940s and 1950's.
It is interesting to note as established by this book, that the period gave birth to the cult of the teenager, while nurturing the most influential generation in the history of the world.
