music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Once An Eagle

A great book and film.  It has not been shown on tv, and you might want to consider buying this as a gift, because it could be lost to the future.

Ella Fitzgerald - Skylark

The quality of Ella's voice stands out in this song.  Is it obvious yet, that Ella is one of my favorites, maybe her records will be around forever, but ....they certainly deserve to be in any collection, you might have!

Indian Love Call - Artie Shaw

Artie Shaw, played and had fun with this love song, made famous in the movies by Jeannette Mc Donald and Nelson Eddy.  Listen to the fun !
Rememer Artie Shaw on your next trip to buy for your collection!

Artie Shaw - Jeepers Creepers

who is Tony Bent?  WONDERING?
How about Artie Shaw, how can we forget him?  Don't let your collection go without him

George Foreman grill

This looks like a great grill.  Has anyone tried it?  It has feet, or you can use it on a table, indoors or out and it is large enough for a family.

Walt Disney - Fantasia - Mickey The Sorcerer's Apprentice

With the new movie coming out on July 14th, you need to try and get this for the little ones. It is a great cartoon, with magical music, and the fun of it is the scene with the brooms and the water! When I taught school, I used the scene to get the little ones to be creative, to write and draw what they thought of when they saw the movie. It was fun for me too!

Sam Cooke - You Send Me

Sam Cooke, be sure to collect now, you could lose them in the future! Great gifts for parents who are old enough to remember him. Look at the prices on the collectible albums when you check out the oldies I post.

Exercise, drink tea to prevent dementia

Life Extension Magazine,

Improved living and diet habits -- including lots of physical activity, regular tea-drinking and sufficient vitamin D levels -- could reduce the risk of brain decline, according to three studies presented Sunday.
