music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Greenwich car show

The car show was set up for American cars on Saturday , foreign cars on Sunday. It was a hot weekend, but the show was great, as was the visit they planned for the exhibitors at Netjets!

We loved the tour around Greewich and the hospitality, except for the parking . We parked in the nearest lot with the big rigs., perfect for us. All of big rigs were off to the side of the lot.

We were all told to leave, for another lot, that was inadequate for trailers of all sizes, because of the height of the driveway. Each trailer scraped and dragged its way in, and we were too big, for the lot!

Finally , the police took mercy on us and moved our rig over to the public works lot off exit 4. What a relief, but we dragged the hitch and bent it, and had many exercises in maneuvering in small lots with a 45 foot motor home pulling a 22 foot trailer...
