music, thoughts, books, dreams, more
Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

VAUGHN MONROE - WHEN THE LIGHTS GO ON ALL OVER THE WORLD
Picture us, as little kids listening to this on our floor size radio, as our parents sat in their matching chairs, smoking with a standing ashtray between them. The ashtray had a clam shape that took and dumped the ashes and cigarettes below , so they would be out of sight and not smell as bad...then the air raid warning would sound.......remembering that sad, sad time, when men/boys left their sweethearts, fathers left their families and young men left their dreams to fight for freedom for our country, some gone for more than 5 years...some never to return....we can never forget...we fought for freedom.

as we danced with our then loves...long gone with the wind, like the clouds that wisk by in the sky.
