music, thoughts, books, dreams, more
Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Gene Pitney - (The Man Who Shot) Liiberty Valance
Why do we love Westerns so much?
Do not forsake me, My Darling. (High Noon)
Frankie Laine sings the song that ruled our world when this movie came out. Another big movie of the past.
Play it, Sam
Oh, how we loved Ingrid Bergman, she was the idol of the women of the world, and this song, became a monster hit...the story of the French Resistance charmed the world with it 's bravery....they made it possible for the Allies to win the war...for their work...all highly dangerous...but then that is another story!
Deborah Kerr tells the funny story...
I can't imagine anyone else playing the part ....of Deborah, can you.....especially not Joan Crawford....Deborah was so much more suited for the roll, but again, I saw the movie and it was ingrained in me...so what can I say?
The Most Romantic Performance On Film: "From Here To Eternity"
Here is another scene to whet your appetite, I would like to see the film again, it would be a great gift for someone who love movies.
Just think how many young girls learned to express their love like this....she was great!
Just think how many young girls learned to express their love like this....she was great!
From Here to Eternity (1953) - Montgomery Clift and Frank Sinatra
What made this movie so fantastic....was it the characters, played by our great stars of the time, or ...the scene on the beach...that never leaves our minds...
(HD 720p) "If I Loved You" (Carousel - Reprise), Gordon MacRae
This knocks me down, it is so beautiful, I wondered when I heard Frank, if I was right that Gordon really clinched the role and the songs....I wondered if I had pre conceived notions ,and I did, but I think I was right....Gordon Mac Rae was wonderful in the movie and the songs suit his voice to a T...don't you think so?
If I loved You - Frank Sinatra
Shirley Jones on Siriusly Sinatra was telling the story about Frank Sinatra ...he was to play in Carousel with her, but when he found out he would have to shoot scenes twice, he walked off the set....and the producer asked Shirley to call Gordon MacRae, who took the part. So, I thought about how the movie would have sounded had Frank taken the part instead of Gordon Mac Rae.... here is Frank, , next is Gordon MacRae

Distant Planets on MSN Photos
Distant Planets on MSN Photos these are wonderful, years ago, I knew someone whose eyes looked like this every morning....
Meet Juvenon, its great in my opinion
Juvenon, is something I believe in, and this notice about foods that are important, is something I believe in too. Now, with the garden season here, I make sure I stuff my husband with as many veggies as possible. In fact I gave him so many that his blood thinned out without the blood thinner...Oh Oh!
Green veggies help to thin your blood, lots of dark green is best. Celery is a miracle, it is fiber, and cleaning your blood while you eat it...anyway here is the news from the experts...
I fell hard, 4 feet off the dock into a boat last winter, serious bruises, but no broken bones....I think it was the Juvenon that kept my bones from breaking...The fall was a real duzy!
Juvenon is interesting....you can look up the products here .

Fallen Angel by Daniel Silva
Just finished this, it kept my attention, though I have been busier than I have ever been. Now is the time to take stock....I love the Kindle because I can take a number of books with me when I travel, but I prefer to read on the I-pad, rather than the Kindle.....now for the important news that all readers like to hear.....My favorite way to read, is to hold a book and get away from the electronics we use all day to do our work. So I bought a hard cover copy of this, and carried it around with 4 other books I am reading in hard copy and 4 that are on my Kindle in sample form to consider for purchase. This book is interesting, in the style of the mystery novels so popular today, it kept my interest while reading the other books in between. The story line is to solve a murder and it ties in with the real ( in make believe) undercover art world of thieves and deception that has been going on for so long. The Vatican bank scandal is briefly part of the story, as are the mysterious chambers of the Vatican. The change of locations, the undercover agents, the unusual murder of a thief, all will keep your interest.
