A charming story with a good mystery, centered around the start of MIT.  The first class enters into a mystery of someone, who is it... destroying Boston?  Who did it, becomes very interesting, just when you think you know who, it switches to another culprit.    A novel with some real names in it, a picture of the times,.  You can hear the horses feet as they clip clop through Boston, you can sympathize with the first and only female student at MIT.
