music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

My book, Secrets of the Heart is a dramatic telling of stories that hide within them the secrets of our universal consciousness.  As a first novel, it was a difficult job, but, hopefully it will reach people who never give a thought to consciousness, or how it causes us to participate in life.  Maybe this will help us  to slow down to evaluate our choices before we make them.

The developing consciousness from childhood to death, is written in short spurts, just as our own thoughts come to us. We meditate daily unknowingly on why, and how. We participate, sometimes without thinking, and we suffer the consequences of our actions. In the end the total goal of life is learning to love, learning to respond without damage to others, as best we can, and learning that there is more to life than what we experience in matter. Each action we take has long reaching repurcussions, not only on us, but on those around us. We are creating an aura around ourselves and around our closest networks, this aura continues to grow into the aura of our very culture. This is all hidden behind the rise of the media, and how our culture is changing based on what is happening with the media, the entertainment world and whomever can grab the spotlight.  There is so much more to our developing cultural aura, such as people convinced that the end of the world is coming in 2012, when it might just be a change in consciousness as we know it.  Is there a right and wrong decision in any universal cause?  Should we be so passionate about our causes that we hurt others?  There are dozens of questions, that bring on even more for the thoughtful.

At the end of World War 2, we children thought, that war was forever over. We thought we had learned from this terrible destruction. The aura was of peace time. What happened to that aura, why did it destruct and get replaced with more wars? Have we gone too far in our free society? Is our largess eating away at the very country we prize because of our generosity? All these questions come to the reader who reads between the lines, in the more than one voice recounting emotional journeys in life.
