music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

During the 2nd World War, I wondered if I should join the WAC's?  ( I had just turned 7 years old)  From my book, "Enchanted",  when the world was almost fully on fire, during the 2nd World War.

WAR OF THE WILDCATS (1943)

An old western movie about oil, instead of cattle...have fun

1944 The Fighting Seabees.avi

They built the landing strips, and all the infrastructure that provided safety for our fighting men. Iwo Jima was the atol that we had to caputre as we were preparing for our strike against Japan in the Second World War, a fierce battle!

A movie to recall an era when we were together as a nation!

Job creators Richard Egan of EMC, Steve Jobs

Thinking about Steve Jobs, and our friend Dick Egan of EMC.    Dick Egan and his partner Roger Marino, created over 45,000 jobs world wide.  Steve Jobs created over 20,000 or 30,000 jobs....this is what America always was about....a person's ability to make a jump and in that jump create jobs for people.

My college professor , Dr. Reidell at Framingham University, always said to us in philosphy class,  "We have an obligation to climb the ladder and in doing so, make way for those below us to start climbing to the top also."   From my book, "Enchanted", coming next year.
Private sector jobs created by individuals,  create stimulus.   Just watch the lines in the streets to get the new Apple products, that is private sector stimulus.

Science News Daily || 10 products that defined Steve Jobs' career

Science News Daily 10 products that defined Steve Jobs' career  Only in America! As my Dad often said to my brother and me, "You can be anything you want to be in America.  Opportunity is there, all you have to do is reach for it."
 While
Dad said these words, Japanese where being interred, and some Italians had started to be interred.  I was wondering as a child, where we going to be interred?"  The thoughts are from my new book, on the market in about 4 weeks," ENCHANTED",  growing up in small town U.S. A. during the 2nd World War.

Lets all remember Steve Jobs as an example of the American way, where all of us have a chance, all we have to do is reach for it, and be the best we can be.

Vision Magazine September 2011 Viewpoint I’m Singing Her Song: A Ballad to an Unsung Hero by Kaci Christian  Inspiring reading, there is a mind shift that helps.  Most people can not make the mind shift, because their minds are too busy in the material world.  It takes lots of practice to even begin to understand.

Enchanted, a memoir

Here is the front and back cover of my newest book, you can enlarge the print and read the back cover.  I looked like that once, in 1949, so if you are wondering who that is, it is a long ago me, the person who lived the story.   A story of love for our parents and all they and their generation sacrificed to keep us tucked safe in our beds each night, as the war raged around the world.  It will be out before Christmas, probably late October or early November.   Learn about downtown Framingham, and what kind of a society we were before and during the war.
