Amazon.com: Peaceful Revolution: How We can Create the Future Needed for Humanity's Survival (9781935212768): Paul K. Chappell: Books I just read a few pages in the preview area at Amazon. It interests me, because when I watch, LOCKUP, on Tv, I often think that criminals are not born, but shaped by neglect. Exceptions to everything exist, however, we can save a lot of people from incarceration, and maybe from war, if we change the way we act, treat, and punish. We have no clear path yet, but maybe there are answers in books like this. If you too, are interested in what we can do to make a better world, A Child Called ,"It", is one book that made me cry my eyes out, and wonder about changing what needs to be changed, even beginning with the birth parents. See more below.
The begining of Paul Chappell's book, Revolution made my chest and heart heavy as I empathized with him, I immediately thought of Dave Pelzer and his book, shown below. Only people that have endured the pain, and risen above it, can truly reach our hearts and ask us to help make changes in the way we handle these problems . Imagine the searing heart pain of a neglected and or abused child who learns to strike out at everyone, because the world is threatening....?? We have to start somewhere to solve these problems, it will not be easy, we are on the threshold of a new world that we could shape, if we started looking at the obvious problems, many of which we create ourselves .
