music, thoughts, books, dreams, more
Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Edge : Conversations on the edge of human knowledge
Edge : Conversations on the edge of human knowledge
http://www.edge.org/ In reading ...The Third Culture, I could not help but think of a comparison...
Michelle Obama said in a recent speech to a Black Organization that the house she is now living in, Our White House, was built in part by Black slaves.
I am sure that she did not mean to be divisive, however, the use of the word slaves ...is a culture word....that causes divisiveness in todays society.
The Muslims carry a hatred from the Crusades, the Blacks carry a hatred from slavery....one forgets that in the history of the world you can find hatred in many places...indentured white slavery, the Romans enslaved the Greeks, the Muslims carried on a slave trade in Africa...and on and on...
The only point to make here is to avoid throwing fuel on the past hatreds, and try to overcome. look at the future with forgiving eyes.... by saying proudly in this case.,
Black people contributed in part to the construction of the White House, as did many other people of our nation at the time....
