Jimmy Sacca - Alone
whose voice will suit this song, if it is ever recorded again? I think it should be recorded by a woman K. D. Lang and a male singer....maybe Michael Buble?
Mario Lanza - Parlami d'Amore Mariu
Every Sunday afternoon, this played either on the record player, or on The Italian Hour coming from WKOX, in Framingham, Mass. My mother loved music, and she swooned over Mario Lanza among many great voices. "Mom, will you and Dad teach us to speak Italian?"
" We would love to teach you to speak Italian, but, we want you to be all American, and concentrate on your lessons in English." So, Frank, my brother and I never learned a 2nd language, and as most children of immigrants, we blended into the American scene, and our parents spoke better English for they spoke only English in the home with us.

JAN PEERCE SINGS - ALONE - LIVE 1935.wmv

MARX TUNES 2/ ALLAN JONES ' ALONE'
The Marx brothers, where funny, we did not appreciate their talent to it's fullest. This is from their movie , A Night at the Opera
AT LAST ~ Charlie Spivak & His Orchestra & The Stardusters 1942.wmv
what a line up of talent! Imagine, there where ballrooms, and everyone went dancing at the ballrooms in those days, what fun!
Alone - Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra - Cliff Weston
Keeping music of the past, alive and well. This is a wonderful song, hard to find today..I can see them dancing back in the 1940's to this song.

Just tried the cream and it seems pretty good relief if you have joint pain. I am going to take

Django Reinhardt - In a Sentimental Mood
Oh who would have dreamed that this music would catch my attention from a distance. I met Django in a book store that sold music, in Palm Beach a few years ago, and fell in love with his gripping sound.
Stranger on the shore ~ Acker Bilk (1961)
