music, thoughts, books, dreams, more
Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal,from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

ONCE IN A WHILE ~ Frances Langford 1937
Never forget.....Bob Hope, Francis Langford, and the wonderful entertainers who put their lives at risk to fly often in dangerous conditions, to entertain the troops longing for a taste of home during the 2nd World war
Bunny Berigan - Blue Moon (1934)
Listening to Bunny Berrigan on Satellite radio the other day, I heard the sounds of Artie Shaw and Billy May...each musician lends an aspect of himself to the future. Bunny Berrigan was a jazz great, that I am sure influenced these others, listen to his style the horn that lets the sound linger
Senza Fine :: Wes Montgomery
the jazz version...wonderful
CONNIE FRANCIS: "SENZA FINE" (1965 - Alternate Version)
A wonderful voice from the past with a song loved by our troops in Afghanistan
Dean Martin - A Hundred Years From Today
Posted this the other day, but can't help myself, the song is so pretty and it suits his sexy voice...Went to see the "Rat Pack" impersonators last night, and they tried, but can anyone really replicate them?
