music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

One of the all time jazz great songs...

A Hundred Years From Today ..... Maxine Sullivan 1986

Her voice is wonderful for her age, a big star of the past, singing this song in 1986...

Dean Martin Sings "100 Years from Today"

Something about Dean's voice and the melody, message...his lazy voice is just perfect for this song.

Frank Sinatra & Quincy Jones - 100 Years From Today

Good team, I still love Dean's version...guess it is not on You Tube....

Alice Jean & The Mondellos - 100 Years From Today

Doo Wop in all its glory

Paloma Faith - "Ain't No Sunshine" Jazz Cafe

Paloma Faith - Play On (Album version)

Della Reese - A Hundred Years from Today

Cocktail lounge music at the Maridor in Framingham, Mass., that was the place where the groups provided great entertainment and Byron Sculos had a soiree at this house next door til the wee hours of the morning with the bands and entertainers....those where the days, but, I was too young.

Jack Teagarden - 100 Years From Today CD Album

Jack Teagarden - 100 Years From Today CD Album

Dean Martin probably does this song best, 100 Years From Today

Foster Brooks as Drunk pilot on Dean Martin Show

Was this really the way it was? Commercial flights started right after the war...about 1945-6...this was in the 70's

Does yoga really 'wreck your body'? - The Week

Does yoga really 'wreck your body'? - The Week Like all activity, everything
in moderation. I have seen trainers work older bodies, until they get a rotor cuff problem ,
and have to have an operation, each body has to balance exercise to their own body.
