music, thoughts, books, dreams, more

Just my world of dreams, music and thoughts. Author of two books, one a novel of Love stories set in Framingham, Mass, Secrets of the Heart the 2nd book an autobiography of growing up in Framingham, Mass. Small Town America, Framingham My generation was the first teenage generation, that was when the word was coined. Ours was the generation that started cruising through town and to the drive in theater and drive in restaurant. In our area, Ernie Kampersal, from Holliston, drove his bucking car through town, picking up girls. It rose in the air, like a stallion! We went to the soda shops and played the juke boxes. It was a different town, a different time, and it belonged to us!

Could we detect extra terrestrials from their nighttime lights? | DVICE

Could we detect extra terrestrials from their nighttime lights? DVICE what if life exists in another dimension that we can't see
smell, hear, or detect? Would we see their lights? Would they have lights? Do our lights affect them?

Since we make the world we live in , creating it on a daily basis, and it is not "real", how can we possibly see otherworlds, that are created by others that might be only available to them in their dimensions?

Caravan Song

A song that is different, as we think out of the box this morning. Some good scenes to see here, imagine how far we had to travel  at one time to encounter others.

Physical Effects of Negative Thoughts

So, for now, here is something to think about, which probably should have come first in the blog.

How Thoughts Affect Our Reality? a must see!!!

Consider the water videos, I have posted this morning and consider this, bringing together disciplines is interesting, isn't it

Music Played Through Water Produces Shapes and Sounds!

Just look at how music affects the world. Wonder what water could dictate to us as music?

Human Emotions Alter Water Molecules!

As you can see from this video there are amazing things we have not learned about the world yet.  I thought this might be an interesting subject this morning

Water has Memory

Water has memory. This is the basis of some of our alternative medicine.

Tribeca Rhythm Performs "Rolling in the Deep" on Imus in the Morning - YouTube

Tribeca Rhythm Performs "Rolling in the Deep" on Imus in the Morning - YouTube

In case you don't know Diane Mercedo, here is her perfomance on Imus...

Toby Keith - Clancy's Tavern

Heard this is available now, on Imus this morning, and Diane Macedo is going to be performing in Conneticut, at the Casino, next week?
"Made in America" is a featured song on Tobey Keith album.  I discovered when I was doing some research for my new book , Enchanted,  the origin of that saying.  During the First World War, lots of goods we still depended on came from overseas, thus began the motto...made in America.

Amazon.com: Van Heusen No-Iron Pinpoint Oxford Shirt: Clothing For Christmas for the important man.
My husband loves Oxford cloth , no iron shirts. I just bought 3 at Orvis, they where about $84.00 there, less expensive here.  Oxford cloth is hard to find, and with Orvis, you get nice touches, like red trim, on a blue and white shirt.  But, for those occasions when you need just white, this is a little less for just plain white.
Think I will buy a couple of these in white for his birthday

Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us?

Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us? This article is amazing, because it shows the general public how far we have come with consciousness and future possibilities. If you for example understand the," many worlds"' theory, then you can easily postulate from that, that we live in more than one place at a time. If you understand Dr. Robert Lanza, who postulates that when we die, we have a choice of life situations from a ladder of choices in time and place, ( as I understand it), that it is also easy to imagine how we live consciously in more than one dimension at a time, but we focus on matter.

The latter idea is easily put forth by Buddhists, who are able to meditate into another state and overcome the focus on matter. Mediation is erasing the focus on matter, and it is not an easy feat! Have you heard of the, " rainbow body"? It is amazing, and when I get a chance I will post on it.

My first novel, "Secrets of the Heart," was an attempt to unclothe our consciousness, and expose it, as existing in more than one world, by introspection, and by conversations from other worlds with people who have gone on to new experiences, not only in time as we know it, but in time gone by. It was a examination of how eternal love can exist in the world and how we can choose to re incarnate over and over with people. It might sound out of this world, but, what we see as reality is not reality, it is way beyond our comprehension and we are learning slowly, of what might truly be. You can read the book as a story, or you can read the book as an unclothing of consciousness, which is far more satisfying.

KD Lang - A Kiss To Build A Dream On

Roy Orbison - In Dreams

Here is a scene from the movie . You would never dream the story woven around this music

Blue Velvet - Isabella Rossellini

Blue Velvet. Never dreamed she could do it, but wonderful and with the wig, she was sultry!

Tony Bennett Live at Carnegie Hall - Blue Velvet

Tony Bennett version, and you know I liked the way Isabella Rossellini sang it in the movie...and I liked her with hair....she is so sultry with hair.

BOBBY VINTON-BLUE VELVET

Was it 1951 or 1952, that this song was part of our teenage world?

La Cucina Italiana | Italian recipes, cooking, ingredients and food guides

La Cucina Italiana Italian recipes, cooking, ingredients and food guides  We met Greg from the magazine, and Laya and Neill from Banfi wines at the Newport Festival of Wine and Food.   It was fun, tasting and enjoying the Friday evening event.  Love the magazine and recipes, and the Banfi wines are terrific.  There is a hotel at the winery in Italy, maybe some day we will find the time to go back to wonderful Italy!

Swingdance in Jungle Book

Here is one of my faves by the Sherman Brothers, as portrayed by the great Louis Prima. I was reminded of it , in the movie, The Boys ( Sherman brothers story)

The Boys: The Sherman Brothers Story [HQ]

Early this morning, I stumbled on this movie, when it was still too dark to get out of bed. It was wonderful! Emotional, tearful, reminiscent, and just wonderful with the music they created. It makes you so cognizant of the writers frustration and problems as they work together for years, and how they long to get away from it, but, it is the very problem they look at as a mountain that gives them the creative edge.

Blue Velvet

I always loved the song by Bobbie Vinton, and stumbled on the movie featuring the song, last night. It is a spell binding movie if you haven't seen it.

green eyes - Helen O'Connell

A song Dad loved to dance to . He would come right to Mom, take her hand and glide out on the floor. Bet your parents did too, those where the days of the big ballrooms. Many nice restaurants had dance floor too...remembering in "Enchanted," my newest book out in a few weeks.

Jimmy Dorsey Orch "Tangerine"

Bob Eberly, a long ago name, when we where listening in our home with Mom and Dad dancing in the dining room. Even the recording has the long ago sound. The Dorsey brothers ruled! Now you know why.

So Rare-Jimmy Dorsey-1957

this is one of my faves, as you know, but tonight is breath instruments in my mind, and I needed some cake and ice cream . I am full to the top with this wonderful Jimmy Dorsey arrangement.

Benny Goodman with the Paul Weston Orchestra 1957

it's like eating cake and ice cream, to hear this great horn, clarinet, the breath instruments....

Paul Weston - Blue Moon

tonight I feel like chasing the horn sounds, but the strings are lovely in this arrangment...

Jo Stafford - Taking a Chance On Love, 1958

Billy May arranged this and his style pops out...with the drag of the horn sound...

Jo Stafford & Frankie Laine - Pretty Eyed Baby (1951)

This was a song that helped us spin around like crazy with white bucks, ducktail hairdo and pegged pants, pegged skirts, and even poodle skirts....Do you remember this ?

Sarah Vaughan - A Garden In The Rain (1963)

Here you are a night of Jazz, from my mind to yours, on Saturday night.....great music from the past... 13 songs....Yes, I have to bring this back, my all time favorite, of Sarah Vaughn, great instrumental, wonderful melody, imaginative lyrics.
Was heaven planning this song for us earthlings...I love all the action in the background, piano, horns, and her voice!

Ella Fitzgerald - Night and Day (w/ lyrics)

Talk about a spectacular arrangement, this has haunted me, for all my years. How can you beat this? Night and Day, is there anyone that does this better than Ella, now you know why she was one of the Divas of Jazz! Her voice was motherly, sexy, angelic, haunting, can I say more?

BLUE MOON - ELLA FITZGERALD - LYRICS

By now, you know that this simple melody captures me, by almost all artists, but I have my favorite, have you figured it out yet...?? Go back and look...
