Blues lovers, surprise! Wynton Marsalis took over the reins of Jazz at Lincoln Center, and he is doing a great job, according to Sunday New York Times, page 22 AR. Now he has enveloped Eric Clapton in the language of the Gods, as Clapton describes jazz...what do you think of the slow New Orleans version...it works as Clapton says.....but...being a Clapton lover...I ache for his fast version of the song. I appreciate this version...but the aching is too strong....I need to go there...
