The Civic League held dances for teens, in the First National Parking lot, next to the Civic League building, on summer evenings. We would dance on the parking lot, with lights shining off the fence. Billy would walk Lorraine home after the dance. A very few of us had cars, and would go parking over at the park near the Dennison. When Framingham was young, and so was I.
