Mallikarjuna Reddy was born Changalaraya Reddy, son of a landlord and politician mother Akkamma, Thoppanahalli Village in Bangarpet, Kolar (District) Karnataka. India. At first, under the self influence, He learned caricatures in school Kolar Gold Fields at age nine. He studied with self-owned skills and creativity and has the potential of creating high-end miniatures and has hand full last skills. Caricaturing on the most delicate media, has the sense of handling such most delicate material and presence the skill of art. But soon after, supported by his family he moved to Bangalore (2000) to study Biotechnology at the Reddy Jana Sangha College. It was there, in the communities of Reddys and Friends that he had enriched his skill of Miniature although his parents were envying his hobby of Miniature Sculpture. Living in this environment, Mallikarjuna Reddy create Microscopic sculptures. In 2001 he exhibited at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad with his first one-man show held at Chitrakala Parishad he was commissioned by most influence by media.
