Tell Me Why By The Four Aces
another song that we sang day and night, played on the juke boxes that looked like this, and on our portable radios, or 78 records
James Tormé - A Better Day Will Come
you just heard Steve and Mel, now James, from his recent album...good sounds!
Michael Bublé - The Way You Look Tonight
Wonderful, great back up, the voice is just right, some more Jazz numbers Michael, keep them coming!
It's No Sin - 3 versions. Four Aces, Eddy Howard, Duprees
Here is a medley by different singers, of a hugh hit, that still comes and visits me in my internal music player. Hope you enjoy it as I do.
Elvis Presley - They remind me too much of you
I was looking for a song that I thought the Ink Spots sang, and ran across this
Oh! What It Seemed to Be - Dick Haymes & Helen Forrest
someone had compared Don Cherry to Dick Haymes and yes, it seems there is a similarity.
BAND OF GOLD ~ Don Cherry 1955
A great voice, that I loved, and the song was fabulous. A voice like this and we never hear him. Hopeully he will get a shot on Siriusly Sinatra.
Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners - Since I Don't Have You
This is the version that melted us into the future...
Brian Setzer Orchestra - Since I Don't Have You
I have been listening to so much Sinatra lately, that I hear Frank Sinatra in Brians voice...???
Vera Lynn - A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square 1940
Vera will always be the angel of the Second World War...
Mel Torme w/ John Colianni - "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square", 1994
Absolutely gorgeous such control, such beauty with his voice...
The Folks Who Live On The Hill - Mel Torme.wmv
There are some songs that only certain people can give meaning to. I think that Mel has one of the best versions of this song.

Magical Healing Mantra: Om Mani Padme Hum
This is very nice, I like it better than the first singing bowls
The Music of the Spheres (Tibetan Singing Bowls, played by Jack Haas)
It sounds similar to the sounds of the universe, mediation music
Guy spans entire history of rock n' roll with 100 riffs

once more, I will introduce you to Father Tiso, the Rainbow Body is fascinating....if we found the God Particle, is it possible, that sound and color make up the particle in a holograph, that we all agree on that causes matter to form....okay, I am dreaming...but it is fun!

XAVIER CUGAT - ABBE LANE nel film "Donatella" (1956)
How could we forget Xavier Cougat and his famous singers....
Silvana Mangano *** Non dimenticar
My parents never taught us to speak their Italian language. Even though I could not understand the words, this was one of my favorites. On Sunday afternoon, in my home town of Framingham, Mass., Guido Oliva and his daughter,
Pearl Oliva, had the Italian Hour on radio stationWKOX, we listened and sang along with great Italian love songs and their famous singers.

Pink Martini - Anna (El Negro Zumbon).avi
Here is a new version of an old song from the movie, Anna. A great film of the past.
Rita Hayworth Sway Dancing
I saw Rita Hayworth films all the time as a young person. She was absolutely beautiful, mesmerizing all of us!
Sway - Rosemary Clooney & Perez Prado Orchestra (W-CLIP DANCING).wmv
Rosemary Clooney has a better version of Sway, in my opinion. You can hear Rosemary Clooney on Sirisuly Sinatara chann3l 21 Sirius radio, along with many of the great jazz singers. My favorite station.
Julie London - SWAY
This is interesting, over one million people have seen this, and Julie London is never heard by me on the radio? Think about it, Julie London, a big star years ago, can get a million hits and still not be brought to our market today? What is it? There are many reasons, I am not sure this is her best hit...for example, maybe it is not the type of music we want to hear in today's market, and more?
NAT KING COLE - NIGHT LIGHTS
The great Nat King Cole, he was one of my favorite singers along with Billy Eckstein...all day long this record would spin around when I was home with my record player!
Gerry Mulligan - Night Lights
I used to love Night Lights by Nat King Cole, I will see if I can find it. In thinking about Youtube and the way it proliferates, I am pretty sure that if you are an artist of the past, especially, you would be better off to let the music be shared on Youtube, otherwise who is going to share and enjoy it to keep you alive? Those artists I like to share are oldies for the most part, and who hears today, Jerry Vale, for example, Sergio Franchi, Frankie Laine? We can keep them alive and hopefully help to sell records. I think that the protective veil over Nat King Cole, will be something to watch. I very seldom hear his hits, but, thanks to Siriusly Sinatra, they are still alive....but who has heard his version of Night Lights, lately? What to do, is always a dilemma....and maybe I don't know the answer, but it seems to be....keep the artist alive...especially when I read about the new authors whose books sell for 99cents and bang! They hit the big time....one wonders, it is a different world, isn't it....!
