Loren Eisley

My favorite author of all time. I love his prose. I lived in his stories for many days during and after reading his books. There is not a big collection of writing by him, but what exsists is truly worth reading, for prose that will stop you in your tracks, and make you think about the beauty of the words. Comments from the reviewers of The Invisible Pyramid. .

His writing delivered science to nonscientists in the lyrical language of earthly metaphor, irony, simile, and narrative, all paced like a good mystery."—The Bloomsbury Review

New York Times Book Review :
"A relentless haunting and haunted figure devils the man [Eiseley] and twists from him some of the best prose we have.

LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA

A love story, but also a selfish story. by Gabriel Garcia Marquez...great reviews...Oprah chose it.

You can not put it down , once you get into it. The lead character is a selfish, mean defeating person, who focuses on his one great love, and destroys a young innocent girl in the meantime.
You become fascinated with the personality of this odd ball guy, and anxious to learn if he succeeds in his life long obsession.

His love is so tender and great for the one person he is obsessed with, but his actions with others are selfish and self satisfying.

The end of the story, was kind of ....well you will see.
